The brief
A handbag brand wanted more direct orders for its premium 4-piece bag combo offer. Their buyers like to ask before they order (colours, delivery, payment), so the goal was clear: start as many real customer conversations in Messenger as possible, at the lowest cost.
What we did
- Built a click-to-Messenger campaign around one strong offer post: the premium 4-piece bag combo.
- Targeted the people most likely to buy premium bags and optimised for messaging conversations.
- Used automatic placements, so the budget moved to where buyers actually responded.
- Watched results every day and kept the cost per conversation below the market benchmark.
Results (5–11 October 2026)
- 1,093 messaging conversations started in 7 days, about 156 a day
- $0.19 per conversation, 31% lower than similar advertisers (median $0.28)
- About 135,000 people reached for a total ad spend of $209.99
- 83% of conversations came from women; about 6 in 10 from women aged 25–44
- Facebook delivered about 99% of the conversations
What it meant for the brand
Every dollar of ad spend started about five conversations with interested buyers, giving the brand a steady daily flow of people asking how to order.
